2023 BANDS
PACIFIC AVENUE
In 2017, in the Australian coastal town of Gerringong, a four-piece alternative rock band was born, blending the sounds of classic rock & roll with a contemporary indie flavour. Pacific Avenue have had a busy and exciting few years landing festival slots at; Mountain Sounds, Yours and Owls, Lost Paradise, and Snow Tunes. They have also supported the likes of established acts including; The Wombats (UK), Louis Tomlinson, Tash Sultana, Ocean Alley, Ruby Fields, San Sisco, Tyne James Organ and The Angels.
TEX PERKINS AND MATT WALKER
Tex Perkins has played a key role in Australian music. From the hard edged pub rock of the Beasts Of Bourbon’s, a snarling slice of filthy pub rock to the evocative soundscapes of The Cruel Sea, whose extraordinary 1991 single ‘This Is Not The Way Home’ placed Perkins’ world-weary growl in a new musical context and heralded the emergence of an entirely original yet archetypically Australian sound. Now is Tex’s exciting new collaboration with Matt Walker. It’s a blues swamp-groove kinda thing that’s a little reminiscent of some of the things in Tex’s back catalogue. Many new originals inhabit the setlist with a few Cruel Sea covers!
EL GRANDE
Friends since childhood, the boys from El Grande have brewed up a sound of blues rock with an attitude of getting it done. The two compadres, Jim & Joe grew up around the corner from each other. Crafting their sound purely from garage tones, angry neighbours and home brewed beer, the duo have captured a unique blend of friendship and raw vibes.
DOS ENOS
South coast indie pop outfit Dos Enos have been around since 2015 and are fired up with fuel in the tank. Catch them around for a good ol time!
BRONTE ALVA
Arising from Kiama, NSW, Bronte Alva Guggisberg wrote her first song at the age of 7 about a primary school crush. As a way to deal with her strong emotions, many more songs became, writing about heartache, the good times, and the not so good.
FRANK SULTANA
Embracing all of the dark charm of pre WW2 Mississippi blues, Frank Sultana sings with as much grit and whiskey drenched soul as the characters he writes about.
Franks original music is inspired by such blues/folk greats as Son House, Blind Willie Johnson as well as iconic songwriters like Bob Dylan and Tom Waits.
THE SUNBEARS
A SunBear is equally happy, delicately eating a coconut or savagely taking on a tiger. The boys in the band relate to that on every level. Throwing everything they have into each note The SunBears are a fully immersive, energetic and original contemporary blues trio with the sort of show you have to see, to believe!
Dead Wi†ch are five friends spell-casting their brand of sparkling psychedelia with undertones of rock & roll and 60s garage revival.
DEAD WITCH
TOMMY GUN
Sleeping in vans, drinking beers at the beach, spending nights in the pub; Tommy Gun is the embodiment of the youth of Sydney’s southern beaches. For those craving summer nostalgia, this band is the sun setting on the horizon and the curtain drawn back, signalling the start of the show - and what a show it will be!
MAC TANGO
Mac Tango are reggae punks from the south coast of NSW. Creating vibes that will make you feel like you're on a beach, Mac Tango like to get loose and make you dance! #mactangovibes

A career musician who has performed in a range of bands from an early age, Coast Phonik's music channels a range of genres from early funk and soul to reggae and blues – all within the framework of hip hop.
