Autumn Sunset
Autumn Sunset are a 7 piece indie rock jazz funk fusion band based in Wollongong/ Dharawal.
Through a course of fate, members Evana Sincek (vocals) and Mayra Brewer (bass) rounded up a collective of extremely talented musicians on the stage of Wollongong's own, Uni bar. Each of them brings their own individual influences to create a melting pot of imaginative ideas. With Olly Williams and Tristan White sharing the role of rhythm and lead guitar maintaining Indie rock as our core, we are also tastefully defined by our horn section carried by Matilda Dickson (sax) and Matt O’Malley (trumpet) keeping the Jazz, Funk fusion alive in us all. Holding us all together is Ethan on drums, with a background in metal fusion/progressive metal he can't resist a cheeky double kick every now and then.
With influences like Sammy Rae and the Friends, Ocean alley, Pacific Avenue, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers and Strangely Arousing, Autumn Sunset are fresh off the press and ready to tackle the Wollongong music scene.

Hot Pursuit
With a diverse set of original hits, featuring rap, scat, and premium disco funk, Hot Pursuit are making waves, real big waves, ever seen a tsunami live on stage?
Known as Wollongong’s biggest blowhard, Evan Batkin squirts his steamy sax melodies over each filthy funk number, and has been voted Wollongong’s number #1, thirty-two year old white
rapper who mainly plays sax. To his right, Oliver Lojek takes a tasteful tinkle on the kuitar, while his distinct vocal tones “weave a rich tapestry” (C, GPT 2023) that will be spoken of by
generations to come.

Batkin and Lojek conceptualise Hot Pursuit as the first multifaceted, multimedia, multicultural
band, who knows their multiplication tables, from Wollongong. They first hit the stage as an acoustic duo with a refreshing beat-box friendly set.“MORE! MORE! MORE!” the people screamed. And thus, a band was formed, with the conscription of some of Wollongong’s most experienced and decorated music veterans, with backgrounds in jazz, musical theatre, and rock and roll, baby!
